Tour Itinerary
Day 01 : Pick up from Delhi Airport / Hotel
Pick up from Delhi Airport or Hotel and meet our representative who will greet you and assist you further. Transfer to Agra via Yamuna expressway which is approx. 02hrs. 30mins. drive with an air-condition car. Reach Agra, and cheek in to your respective hotel at Agra. You are free for leisure activities at hotel. Overnight stay in Agra hotel.
Day 02 : Agra City Tour
Early in the morning at Sunrise Visit Taj Mahal, (one of the seven wonders of the World). Taj Mahal is a symbol of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan and is the ultimate requiem of love. Back to hotel and enjoy your delicious breakfast and check out from the hotel. Later on, proceed for a workshop where you will experience a demonstration of Marble Inlay Art (the splendid craft of Agra), is the same technique of marble art done on Taj Mahal. Visit Agra Fort, is also known as Red Fort, built by various Mughal rulers. The fort is a live testimony of the great Mughal Architecture in India. Agra Fort is listed under UNESCO World Heritage site. The fort is also known as Lal Qila.
Lunch / RelaxYou will enjoy delicious lunch in a local recommend restaurant or 05 star hotel (one has to inform in advance so that we can book the table on your name in the restaurant of a 05 star hotel). Visit Itimad-ud-Daulah, sometimes called the "Baby Taj". the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.
Explore Local Arts and Crafts / Museum*Just after Itimad-ud-Daulah, you are free for the leisure activities on your own, where you can discover the local shopping market, OR ELSE, you may experience the famous museum cum gallery which is established in 1845. It houses a breath taking collection of Mughal art /jewellery/embroidery and antiques. If not interested visit Museum / Local Arts OR you can straight drive back to hotel. You are free for leisure activities at hotel. Overnight at Agra hotel.
Day 03 : Agra to Gwalior by Road
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel, then proceed to drive to Gwalior from Agra. The drive will be for almost 2:30 hours to reach Gwalior city. En-route, visit Mitvali Temple. It has a nice view at Mitvali temple (r. c. 1015-1035 CE). Though people say Sansad Bhavan's design is inspired by this temple but as per further findings, it appears to be coincidence. Visit Garhi Padawali which is actually an old Vishnu temple later was named into Garhi and since it is surrounded by Hills, hence Garhi Padawali. This temple was built by Pratihara dynasty of the 10th century A.D. Visit Bateshwar Temple. Just after Bateshwar temple, proceed to drive to Gwalior. The drive will be for almost 35:00 minutes to reach Gwalior city. Reach Gwalior, check-in your respective hotel and relax. After Lunch, visit Gwalior Fort. This fort was built in 8th century CE by Raja Maan Singh Tomar. Important buildings housed inside and Man mandir, Karan Mandir, Archaeological Museum. This fort has beautiful art work on its walls. Visit Gujari Mahal Archaeological Museum / Gurudwara Data Bandi Chhod Qilla Gwalior. Visit Sas-Bahu Temple. Sas Bahu temple in Gwalior is a famous temple and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu by the King Mahipala. Lord Vishnu is also known as Sahastrabahu, In the evening back to hotel. You are free for leisure activities at hotel. Overnight stay at Gwalior Hotel.
Day 04 : Gwalior to Orchha by road
After breakfast & and check-out from the hotel, proceed to drive to Orchha from Gwalior. The drive will be for almost 3:00 hours to reach Orchha city. Reach Orchha, and check in your hotel and you are free for Relaxing and Lunch at hotel. After Lunch, visit Chaturbhuj Temple in Orchha which is one of the most fabulous and ancient architectural marvels of the time in the town. It was built during the reign of Emperor Akbar, by the Queen of Orchha Ganesh Kunwar. Visit Orchha Fort. The fort consists of several connected buildings erected at different times, it is known before the 1501 A.D. Back to hotel. You are free for leisure activities at hotel. Overnight stay at Orchha.
Day 05 : Orchia to Khajuraho by Road
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to drive to Khajuraho from Orccha. The drive will be for almost 3:00 hours to reach Khajuraho city. Reach Khajuraho, and cheek-in your hotel and you are free for relaxing and Lunch at hotel. Later in the evening proceed for Light and Sound Show. Back to hotel, you are free for leisure activities and Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay at Khajuraho.
Day 06 : Khajuraho to Delhi by Air
Have breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Than start city tour of Khajuraho. You will meet our professional tour guide at your hotel who will take you to famous tourist attractions in the city of Khajuraho. En-route, visit World Heritage site Khajuraho Western group of temple, Khajuraho - the legendary temples of Khajuraho are an incomparable experience. Acknowledged as one of the world's artistic wonders, these temples dedicated to the Hindu pantheon of Gods and are covered in carvings that are a paean to life and love. Later, proceed to drive to Khajuraho Airpot and catch the flight for Delhi. Reach Delhi & pick up will be done from Delhi Airport and transfer to hotel. Check-in your hotel and have rest or some refreshments. You are free on your own for leisure activities. Overnight stay at hotel Delhi.
Day 07 : Delhi City Tour
After breakfast in the hotel, start the full-day sightseeing of Delhi. You will meet our professional English speaking tour guide at your hotel who will take you to famous tourist attractions in the city of Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar (Tallest Stone tower), is now listed under UNESCO World Heritage sites. After refreshments, visit Lotus Temple which is also known as a Bahaí House of Worship completed in 1986. Visit Humayun's Tomb which is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India.
Lunch / Relax TimeHave a delicious lunch in a local recommended restaurant & take some rest or have refreshment at coffee shop. After Lunch, drive pass through India Gate, President's House & few other Government buildings. Visit Red Fort which is a historic fort in the city of Delhi. Every year on the Independence day of India, the Prime Minister hoists the Indian 'tricolour flag' at the main gate of the fort and delivers a nationally broadcasted speech from its ramparts. Visit Jama Masjid. The Masjid-i Jahan-Numa, commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is one of the largest mosques in India. Visit Raj Ghat which is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Originally it was the name of a historic ghat of Old Delhi on the banks of Yamuna river. In the evening drive back to hotel. Reach Hotel and relax. You are free for leisure activities at hotel. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 08 : Departure Delhi
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel proceed to drive to Delhi Airport. Drop will be provided at International Delhi Airport to catch flight for back to home.
