OVERVIEW
Rajasthan, the "Land of Kings", is literally India's largest state by area and comprises most of the wide and inhospitable Thar Desert (also known as the "Rajasthan Desert" and "Great Indian Desert"). Its palaces and forts are reminders of the many kingdoms that historically vied for the region. In its capital, Jaipur (the "Pink City"), are the 18th-century City Palace and Hawa Mahal, a former cloister for royal women, fronted by a 5-story pink-sandstone screen, Amer Fort. Major features include the ruins of the Indus Valley Civilisation at Kalibanga; the Dilwara Temples, a Jain pilgrimage site. Rajasthan has 3 Tiger reserves. Taj Mahal - the marble marvels, the ultimate requiem of love, from a great Mughal Emperor to his beloved wife, symbol of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan situated on the bank of Yamuna River. Taj Mahal is also one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Pink City of Jaipur is famous for its magnificent forts and palaces. Delhi is the capital of India. It's a mixture of lutyn's and ancient India. In this tour, you will get experience of three different dynasties like Rajputana, Mughal and British.
Day 01 : Pickup from Delhi Airport / your respective place
Pick up from Delhi airport or from your respective place and our representatives will greet
you and transfer to Agra, the city of love, via Yamuna Expressway which is approx. 02:30 Hrs.
Reach Agra, check-in your respective hotel and take rest and refreshment. After rest, visit
Agra Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The fort is also known as Lal Qila.
Later, proceed for experiencing the beauty of Sunset view of Taj Mahal during sunset
from Mehtab Bagh across the Yamuna River. By evening at leisure time EITHER
spend time at hotel OR enjoy shopping of local hand-crafted art of Agra. In the evening
return to your hotel for overnight stay at Agra.
Day 02 : Agra to Jaipur
After breakfast, check-out the hotel. Visit Taj Mahal which is one of the Seven Wonders
of the World. Also, visit demonstration of marble inlays Art, the splendid craft of Agra, where
you can experience the same technique of marble art done on Taj Mahal. Later proceed to Jaipur.
En-route visit Galtaji Temple, famous for it's architectural beauty, is also known as
Monkey temple. You will really enjoy watching the monkeys swinging on the trees, chasing each
other & frolicking in the water. In the evening, reach Jaipur and Check-in the hotel where you
are free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in Jaipur Hotel.
Day 03 : Jaipur City Tour
After breakfast, start full day city tour in which you will visit Amer Fort, 30Kms away
from the Jaipur city. At Amer Fort you can enjoy Elephant Ride and, then visit Hawa Mahal
- the palace of winds and then visit Jantar Mantar - the observatory on stone and later
visit City Palace Museum which contains the original collection of the Maharajas of Jaipur.
After lunch, visit Jal Mahal, which literally means the "Water Palace" and is a palace
located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city. In the evening you will be free for
local handicrafts market (Jaipur is famous for Gems and Jewellery and Blue Pottery). Later, drive
back to hotel and you are free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in Jaipur Hotel.
Day 04 : Jaipur To Jodhpur Via Pushkar
After breakfast, check out the hotel and then drive to Pushkar. Reach Pushakar and en-route visit
the 14th Century Jagatpita Brahma Mandir, dedicated to the god of creation. Also visit
Savitri temple, Mahadev temple and Ramavaikunth temple. In evening, enjoy
Camel safari. After completion of sightseeing, drive to Jodhpur. In the evening reach
Jodhpur, check-in the hotel overnight stay st Jodhpur.
Day 05 : Jodhpur City
After breakfast, visit Mehrangarh Fort, it is one of the largest forts in Rajasthan. Visit
Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, Moti mahal, Phool Mahal, Jaswant Thanda,
Birla temple and Osian temple. This Jain Mahavir temple is a unique temple among Osian
temples. And also visit 12th Century Sachiva Mata Temple. Overnight stay in Jodhpur Hotel.
Day 06 : Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur
After breakfast, check out the hotel and then drive to Udaipur. En-route, visit World famous
Jain Temple at Ranakpur. The Jain temple is an exceptionally beautiful and one of the
largest and most important Jain temples in India. Main temple, the Chaumukha Temple,
or Four Faced Temple dedicated to Adhinath, was built in 15th Century. Reach Udaipur and
check-in the hotel where you will take rest. In evening, visit Lake Pichhola which is
surrounded by hills, palaces, temples and ghats. Back to hotel for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07 : Udaipur City
After breakfast, start full day sightseeing. Visit City Palace, Bagore ki Haveli
and Saheliyon ki Bari. Then, enjoy the lunch at one of the best quality restaurants.
After lunch, visit Jagdish temple, Pratap Smarak, Fateh Sagar lake,
Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal and Shilp gram. In the evening, back to hotel for overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 08 : Udaipur Departure
After breakfast, check out the hotel. Drive to Airport/Railway station to catch Flight/Train for
further destination.
